Import your Fuelly history into Every Fill

Every Fill reads three kinds of Fuelly CSV file, for free. Before anything is saved, it shows a preview: the vehicles, the number of rows, the date range, the units, and any rows it can't read. It backs up your existing data first and skips duplicate rows.

Guide A: Export from fuelly.com (web)

  1. In a web browser, sign in at fuelly.com.
  2. Open your vehicle's page. Under Recent Fuel-ups, choose the export (disk) icon, or use the export link at the bottom of View All Fuel-ups.
  3. Save the CSV file to Files or iCloud Drive. Repeat for each vehicle: each vehicle downloads as its own file.
  4. In Every Fill, go to Settings › Import from Fuelly or CSV… and choose the file.
  5. Check the preview:
    • Units are detected from the file: mpg/miles/gallons, l/100km/km/litres, or UK uk mpg/miles/litres.
    • Match the file's vehicle to a new or existing vehicle, then confirm.
    • You pick the decimal separator, and rows written in the other number style are skipped.

Notes:

Guide B: Export from the Fuelly iPhone app

  1. In the Fuelly app, open Settings › Export Data. The app emails you a CSV file.
  2. Save the attachment to Files.
  3. In Every Fill, go to Settings › Import from Fuelly or CSV… and choose the file.
  4. This file can hold several vehicles plus service records. Match each vehicle, check the units, and confirm. Service rows become services.

Note: this format has been tested with files in US units. If your file uses other units and Every Fill doesn't recognize a column, you'll be asked to match it.

Guide C: Fuelly import-template files

If you keep a spreadsheet in Fuelly's import-template layout, Every Fill reads it directly. See the CSV template on the support page.

Keep your Fuelly export files somewhere safe after importing.
